The school has strong links with the Parish church. Members of the church, including the Priest in Charge, speak in school assemblies and often take part in the religious instruction elements of the national curriculum.
The children make visits to the church during the year in support of a variety of aspects of the national currciulum. These have included studying the architecture of the building, the building as a place of worship and studying the gravestones and monuments.
The school also conducts four services in the church each year. These are the harvest festival, the carol service, mothers' day service and the year 6 leavers' service, where the children are presented with a Bible as a gift from the church. Other occasions have been marked in the church in recent years.
